The “One Teacher, One Laptop” project has officially been launched by the Ghana Education Service (GES), Ministry of Education in collaboration with the three teacher unions (GNAT, NAGRAT, CCT-GH).
The Service has revealed that the laptops are to supplement traditional classroom teaching with digital teaching.
Moreover, the laptops are locally assembled and as results are environmentally friendly. The laptops will be distributed to teachers in the coming weeks when one registers for them.
How to register for the collection of laptop under the “One Teacher, One Laptop” Initiative:

- Enter First name
- Enter Last name
- Enter Staff ID
- Enter active email address
- Confirmatory SMS code will be sent to you to be used for collection.
However, due to numerous teachers trying to register at the same since the launch of the initiative, the USSD (shortcode) service has been intermittently unavailable. Do try to register later if you receive an error or unavailability of service feedback.
