The Chief Director and some staff of the Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Protection (MoGCSP) were awarded for their outstanding performance at this year’s ‘Civil Service Awards Ceremony’ which took place on Friday, 13th August, 2021.
The event, which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), formed part of activities to mark and climax the 2021 Civil Service Week Celebration by the Office Of The Head Of Civil Service – OHCS.
The awards ceremony was instituted to celebrate gallant civil service staff and show appreciation for their dedication to work.
The Chief Director for the Ministry, Dr. Afisah Zakariah was awarded for her Continuous Hard Work, Dedication and Commitment to the Civil Service in the ‘Outstanding Achievement Awards Category’.
Ms. Vida Owusua Mensah- Director, General Administration also won an award for her ‘Hard work and Dedicated Service’.
The Deputy Director in charge of Human Resource Directorate, Ms. Dzifa Kemevor won an award for her ‘Outstanding Performance and Commitment to Duty’, whiles Ms. Alhassan Bushira- Principal Program Officer at the Department of Gender was awarded for her ‘Excellent Performance and Commitment to Duty’.
Ms. Faustina Serwah Wiafe- Chief Child Care Officer and Mr. Seth Dzidzornu Kwabla- Chief Technical Officer from the Department of Social Welfare were also awarded for their ‘Loyalty & Commitment and Outstanding Performance & Leadership to the Civil Service’ respectively.
Mr. Israel Aklorborto- Acting Volta Regional Director of the Department of Children won an award for his ‘Exceptional Leadership in the Civil Service’.
