The Divisional Police Command of Kpando Municipal on the 19th of July 2022 received a brand-new Toyota Helux from the First Sky group of companies.
Over the years police in the municipality has faced many challenges in executing their duties diligently, one of which is a vehicle for patrols. So the Divisional Police paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of First Sky Group of Companies, Mr. Eric Selinam Kutortse who in kind gesture saw the need to assist the police, since security is a shared responsibility.
Speaking on behalf of Okpekpewuokpe Akpinifiaga Dagadu IX, the Divisional Chief of Atsyaƒume Togbe Asumadu VIII, appreciated the First Sky Group for the gift and also thanked the police for the great works they are doing in the municipality. He said the Okpekpewuokpe is ever ready to work with the police to enhance security within the Akpini state.
The MCE of Kpando municipal, Hon. Geoffrey Badasu also thanked the Company for their benevolence and hoped that with this, the operations of the police would be enhanced. He also mentioned a police divisional bungalow soon to be constructed and also working towards more officers to be posted to the municipality. He therefore used the medium to appeal to all well-meaning citizens to take up the challenge in supporting the municipality.
The Deputy Regional Police Commander, DCOP Andrews Boadu, Elijah thanked the company on behalf of the police commission and urged that the vehicle be used for its purpose and the division should also apply a maintenance culture. Mr. Mark Kofi Krah handed over the vehicle on behalf of the group CEO.
